I’ve changed careers more than once. I worked as a teacher in Spain, a plain language writer and editor for years, and I was even in the corporate world which I loved until it was time to get out. For the last few years I’ve been in home staging and in home stager training, and I could not be more delighted with my choice.
Delighted and grateful. While many industries have been hard hit by the pandemic, especially hospitality, travel, restaurants and retail, the property market has continued. Sure, sellers need to be realistic about their prices at lower prices than they want, but the market is booming.
Huge need for home stagers
This means there is more of a need than ever before for home stagers, and more opportunities for home stagers to get going.
If your industry has been hit and you find yourself hustling, or looking for a career change, look at becoming a home stager. You need a creative eye, a bit of business acumen, a few marketing skills, and the accreditation. I am here to train you and to help you on your way to a new career, one where you can hopefully start making money again.
• And be stimulated!
• And meet new people.
• And did I mention, make money
